Letters to and from State Senators and State Assemblymembers

We are asking everyone to write to their State Senator and State Assemblymember, then send us a copy of your letter and the reply (if any) that you get. We will remove your name and address from anything you send if you request. Use the letters here as examples or write your own. The important thing is that you do write a letter and make your position known.

The replies that you get will be the basis for praise or criticism of an individual legislator. To be in the praised category the legislator must state in writing that he or she will introduce or support already introduced legislation that will abolish the California Air Resources Board. If your letter is unanswered after three weeks, they will be marked as a supporter of CARB. Click on a legislator's name to read their mail.
