New Truck Regulation Brochure Available

Here is a new letter from the California Air Resources Board to announce a new Truck Regulation Brochure.  It is available on-line.  They also invite you to take their survey on how they are doing.

Beware however, the brochure is not something that could be used by a compliance officer or the owner of heavy duty Diesel Fueled Vehicles to know exactly what all of the requirements are or even the dates for compliance, however the brochure is a good approximation of what the actual regulations are.

Remember, that reliance on their information could get your in trouble, the disclaimer on the website states:

The purpose of this website is to assist the user in identifying legal requirements that may apply based on information submitted by the user.  This website may not indicate all legal requirements that may apply.  The user should not rely on the presentation of statutes or regulations referenced in this website, but should consult the actual text of each statute or regulation. Legal requirements frequently change and the user should seek the advice of counsel to determine what requirements apply to their situation.
